On Monday, I did something I’ve wanted to do for years. Now that I’m almost 25 years old, I had a “why the hell not!” moment while browsing through the Toys R Us aisles. I bought my first ever Sea Monkeys kit!
There it was, the Amazing Live Sea Monkeys Magic Castle lumped in with the other DIY science kits for kids. I just couldn’t resist the tacky pink and blue castle at the bottom of the plastic sea floor.
This afternoon, I completed step one: water purification. I have to wait 24 hours for the water to well, purify and get warmer so the little eggs that I get to add tomorrow start hatching right away.
I figured that doing a daily update on my Sea Monkeys will be a good way for me to keep updating my blog, since I have started sucking at it again.
